The NPSA releases Organisation Patient Safety Incident Reports data for individual NHS organisations in England and Wales. The data for the September 2011 release covers patient safety incidents that occurred between 1 October 2010 and 31 March 2011 and were reported to the National Reporting and Learning System by 30 May 2011.
The following supporting documents are available:
• Data handling notes; • a list of organisations categories (cluster types); • a briefing for boards of NHS healthcare organisations.
